Jason Hope’s Passion for Scientific Research

The SENS Foundation is holding its annual rejuvenation biotechnology conference this year at Santa Clara. It will take place from August 21 to 23 at the Santa Clara Hyatt Regency Hotel. The agenda for this year’s annual conference is emerging regenerative medicine solutions for age-related illnesses. Aubrey de Grey is the chief science officer and co-founder of Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence (SENS). Grey, during the opening of the conference, noted that the overall objective of the seminar and the foundation as a whole is to come up with a rejuvenation biotechnology sector that ensures that there is the development of drugs through damage-repair and broad-based collaboration and expertise.

Jason Hope is a well-known entrepreneur who comes from Arizona. He has made contributions to the foundation as well as being an active supporter of the research efforts of the SENS Foundation. Jason recently contributed $500,000 to the organization as a gift that will enable the foundation to equip and build the Cambridge SENS Foundation laboratory and implement the new research program. The program aims at breaking down refined glycation end products in the human body. Jason Hope said that he is passionate about supporting the foundation to achieve its goals on the issue of anti-aging. He further noted that such organizations that are focusing on finding the cure to illnesses that break down the human body and cause people to age faster than normal.

Illnesses such as lung cancer and heart diseases affect all the body’s functions. Jason Hope said that conventional medicines only treat the conditions after they have occurred. He said that he is supporting the foundation and its research to ensure that they get a solution that focuses on stopping the illnesses from happening. SENS Foundation holds the annual conference to offer a platform for essential players and experts to attend panels that talk about causes of diseases through molecular and cellular damage, advancing regenerative therapies in cancer, and rejuvenation biotechnology sector.
