Hard Candy

Mix 3-3/4 cups of sugar, 1 cup water and 1 1/2 cups Karo syrup over medium heat until sugar dissolves. Boil without stirring until temperature reaches 310 degrees, or until drops of syrup form hard brittle threads in cold water. Remove from heat and stir in 1 tsp. oil flavoring and color as desired. Pour in hard candy mold, NOT CLEAR PLASTIC CHOCOLATE MOLD.
